Security control by personnel is normally very ineffective. This is why our electronic security solutions are a secure and economical way to automate security processes.

This solution manages access to restricted areas. A device triggers the opening of our Smart Gate to let people into an area, which closes after entering.

The restricted area can be separated by Nextrac barriers, so that access control is perfectly integrated into it.

The Smart Gate can be triggered by remote controls, via RFID or third-party card readers.

One or more Smart Gates close a restricted area. Depending on the case, the Smart Gate can have a, two or four blades.
Even two opposing Smart Gates can be triggered, thus creating wide access.
To ensure availability at 100 %, it is necessary to use a permanent power supply with the Smart Gate.

To open the Smart Gate, you have to activate one of the triggers. Depending on the application, the following options are available :

– Remote : for easy opening of the Smart Gate.
– RFID : use of our RFID cards or chips allowing several people to access
– Third party card reader : any card that creates an opening contact can be used. This allows airport ID cards to be used, so that only certain identity cards (for example for services for people with reduced mobility) can access the restricted area.
After entering the area, the Smart Gate closes. Furthermore, sensors can monitor the correct access and can trigger an optical and acoustic alert if necessary. Included cellular modem provides remote access for system maintenance.

RFID READER

Gate can be opened by RFID chips or cards. The RFID reader is integrated into a Beltrac post. When granting entry, the RFID reader triggers the opening of the Smart Gate, which closes automatically after several seconds. It is also possible to use a card reader provided by the customer.

REMOTE CONTROL

One or more remote controls open the Smart Gate after pressing the open button. Ensuite, the Smart Gate closes either automatically, either by pressing the button again.

INTELLIGENT DOORS (SMART GATE)

The Smart Gate is a swing gate built into a Beltrac post. According to the situation, up to four blades close off the area for visitors. Once entry is authorized, the revolving door opens at a speed of two seconds per 90° and then closes. In the event of an unauthorized entry attempt, an acoustic alarm is activated.
