Smart baggage validator

The Smart Baggage Validator can be used flexibly by different airlines at check-in or boarding gate areas to electronically determine whether a passenger's carry-on baggage meets the airline's size requirements and weight.

The Smart Baggage Validator is preconfigured to contain all the size and weight restrictions of the relevant airlines. Each airline then scans its unique barcode on its own magnetic panel (which attaches to the frame of the device) and the Smart Baggage Validator then loads the corresponding data.

When the passenger is asked to check in their hand baggage and approaches the device, the latter is activated. When the luggage or suitcase is placed on the platform, the actual weight is displayed on the screen. The size of the luggage or suitcase is displayed in three dimensions by red and green LED strips.

Its operating autonomy is approximately 3 month, and it simply recharges, and in one night.
